Canard-Duchêne & Pangea

An obvious union, inspired by nature and the collective

In tune with its bold and colorful identity, Maison Canard-Duchêne embraces the joyful poetry of the artistic duo Pangea to share its unifying story, deep-rooted values, and strong connection to the Champagne terroir.

Formed by artists Laëtitia Rouget and Colombine Jubert, Pangea creates a vibrant, dreamlike universe through richly textured textile artworks — a utopian vision of a softer, more harmonious future. Each of their creations reveals a fragment of this imagined world, proposing a new order and new ways of living, inspired by joy, optimism, and creativity.

A vibrant dialogue between art and Champagne

For Champagne House Canard-Duchêne, the artistic duo Pangea crafts a meaningful story that honors collective effort and the vital harmony between people and nature. This creative, four-handed collaboration reflects the visionary spirit of the Maison’s origins, established in 1868 by Léonie Duchêne and Victor Canard.

"Creating an artwork that engages in a dialogue between an estate and its ecosystem has been a truly meaningful artistic experience for us. Maison Canard-Duchêne deeply inspired us with its strong commitments and authentic connection to its natural environment."

A unique artwork as the starting point of this collaboration

A symbolic arch composed of a patchwork and embroidered , Equilibrium invites reflection on the harmony between humanity and our bond with nature.

The artwork embodies the balance that nurtures the meaningful connections we create — between earth and sky, nature and mankind, from roots to fruits.Everything is a matter of balance in the pursuit of harmony.

This welcoming, harmonious arch features a Tree of Life whose roots transform into hands, a powerful symbol of the work of the men and women of Maison Canard-Duchêne, and of our inextricable connection to the natural world.

An immersive experience in the vineyard

“Equilibrium” will be exhibited in the domain of the Maison Canard-Duchêne estate in Ludes, starting May 16, 2025.

As an integral part of Vign’Art, the Contemporary Art and Land Art Festival in the Champagne vineyard, this experience highlights the Champagne region and its rich cultural heritage. This experience aligns with the Mission Coteaux, Maisons et Caves — of which Maison Canard-Duchêne is a proud ambassador — celebrating its 10th anniversary this year.
