Vign’Art : la rencontre de l’art et du champagne

Vign'Art: the meeting of art and champagne

Contemporary art festival in the Champagne vineyards, Vign'Art is a poetic invitation to reconnect with the Earth. For this third edition, come and meet art thanks to 18 works exhibited in the territories of the Montagne de Reims, the Côte des Blancs and the Vallée de la Marne.

Bringing notoriety to the region, these presentations, rich in symbols, immerse you in the rich wine heritage of Champagne.

The House has the privilege of hosting one of these works, during the festival which takes place from May 15 to September 15, 2022.

The festival and its works

On the program for this outdoor getaway: 18 places to visit here and there as you wish.

Defined as a trend in contemporary art, using the framework and materials of nature (wood, earth, stones, sand, rock, etc.), 18 works of land art invite you to contemplation.

The creations are exposed to the elements to be as close as possible to nature. The Vign'Art festival aims to highlight the terroir and regional riches. What more beautiful location than the Champagne vineyard, land of culture(s)?

All the achievements are freely accessible and free of charge. Come and connect with the Earth and the origins of champagne!

This 2022 edition offers the opportunity to admire several works in the Marne in an innovative tourist way and with concern for the environment (in particular through the use of sustainable materials for the works).

The place of the human being is questioned in particular thanks to the work called "Symbiose" by Patrick Planchon and Jean-Paul Rahard located in Nanteuil-la-Forêt. It is a strong symbol of the dialogue between the natural state and man (steel, sheet metal and wood).

In Mancy, the structure "Éclats" by Francine Garnier and Alain Engelaere, both visual and sound, will awaken all your senses. It represents a multi-colored tent with many crossings of ribbons, which change color as you move. A sweet reminder of the flavors and feelings of a champagne tasting!

The "Bubble Domain Extension" is created by Erwan Sito, exhibited in Binson-Orquigny. This pine sculpture evokes soap bubbles that become champagne bubbles. The projected images are then turned upside down, immersion guaranteed!

We leave you the pleasure of discovering other artists' creations with your own eyes...

The art of believing in your dreams in Ludes

Domaine Canard-Duchêne, located on the north face of the Montagne de Reims, has the privilege of exhibiting the work of Gleb Dusavitskiy . An internationally renowned artist, he creates works in a variety of materials, such as wood, metal, stone, ice, snow and bronze. He enjoys experimenting with different size proportions, from small interior works to monumental compositions. It is in this last format that he has chosen to present his work entitled "I believe I can fly" in the grounds of the House. He invites visitors to take responsibility by exploring the theme of dreams, to believe in them and in their realization! With willpower and perseverance, anything is possible.

Free spirits since 1868, Canard-Duchêne could not host a more symbolic work in its park.

All the more so since this exhibition is interactive: a magnificent structure of two gigantic wings, an empty space remains between them. It's up to you to play! You then become a full actor in this art to embody this poetic metaphor. So yes, even if it seems inaccessible to you, flying becomes possible.

This taste for effort and this invitation to escape support the daily creation of our vintages. The respect for our history and the care given to our vines allow us to offer you the excellence of the region's grape varieties, in the secrecy of our cellars.

The soil of the Montagne de Reims gives us an extraordinary terroir, the fruit of 70 million years of evolution and a unique combination of chalk, sand, clay and limestone. It also benefits from a dual climatic influence: continental and oceanic.

These assets, precious to the production of champagne, push us to offer a sustainable wine tourism experience in Champagne, with the greatest consideration for our environment.

So why not admire the work while enjoying a glass?

We welcome you from Monday to Saturday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
